Hey there guys.
Life has been really...eventful lately, to say the least. A day ago I didn't know where my head was. I was distraught and hurting more than I had in a long time. Confusion, pain, and fear all took over my body and mind, rendering me incapable of even leaving the house this morning.
Now, a little while later, after a trip to the Curry Point, and long talk with Aurora, things are becoming a bit better.
I guess it would be accurate to say that we have achieved a happy balance for both of us right now. We're no longer together, and we're not going to see each other for around a week just so we can have some well-needed space, but we're still good fuckin' friends. And honestly, I was so scared of losing that as well.
I'm still very in love with her. She's...not so much in love with me. She has feelings for me but the whole magic part for her has disappeared. And of course she cares for me in that same way that I care for her, in that tightest of bonds held by friends.
I'm going to move on, though. Figure out my life and do things away from this. I think one of the mistakes I've made recently was spending all of my time with her, and thus not really doing anything for myself.
And if someone else comes along as far as romance is concerned, then that's how it shall be.

Basically, despite having lost an amazing lover whom I hold closer in my heart than anyone else, I am still very content with life. I have this wonderful girl as an amazing friend still; I really couldn't ask for more. And I think it's time I got out and did things.
It'll be hard. Very, very hard. But I'm now ready to move past this.
